For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
(Hebrews 4:12 ESV)
For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.
(Hebrews 4:2 ESV)
The most powerful song for me at this point in my life is, “God’s Not Dead”. It’s sung by Newsboys. Here is the part that gets me every time:
“My God’s not dead, He’s surely alive.
He’s living on the inside, roaring like a lion.
God’s not dead, He’s surely alive.”God’s Not Dead by the Newsboys
I don’t know about you but my God is not dead. He is very much alive and well and living inside of me.
I had a very interesting afternoon yesterday. A gentleman came out to put a part on my scooter. What was a 15-minute job turned into about 4 hours. No, it did not take 4 hours to put 1 little part in my scooter. I learned his life history. He is so on fire for God. We had some very interesting conversations on the subject. He did most of the talking.
I was watching one of the God’s Not Dead movies when he arrived. I finished the last 10 minutes after he left. Every time I hear that song I feel so happy. It’s a reminder that God is alive and well and working on my problems. God loves us. He loves us so much.
Do you love God? Do you tell Him? I tell Him multiple times each day. I tell Him when I get up each morning and right before I go to bed at night and throughout the day. Tell God you love Him. And always remember that God is alive and well and living inside of you.
Have a fabulous day, everyone.
