Making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
(Ephesians 5:16-17 ESV)
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.
(Colossians 3:23 ESV)
What do you like to do? I like to craft and then sell them at craft sales or make something special for gifts.
There are so many ways to fill your day. So many ways to waste time. I know of one good way to not waste time, or kill time as some say. That is to read. The Bible is a great book to read.
There are all kinds of books. Some are edifying and some are not. I love to read but have to be in the mood to and not have a new craft waiting in the wings for me. I like mysteries. But I also like, for lack of a better word, religious books. By that, I mean books I can learn more about God from. I want to know all I can about my loving Heavenly Father. He knows everything about me so I want to know more about Him.
God loves us no matter what we do. He is always in our corner rooting us on. When we do good, He is our biggest cheerleader. When we mess up, He forgives us and helps us get back on track.
So how do you occupy your time? Spend it with God and you will never go wrong.
Have a great day. Hope to see you at church tomorrow. God has big plans for us.
