Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Be kind to unkind people. I know it can be hard to be nice to someone who treats you like dirt. But a kind word can turn things around. 

Forgive people who don’t deserve it. If Jesus could forgive those who hung Him on the cross, you can forgive too. I really don’t think anyone will nail you to a cross and then cast lots for your clothes.

Love unconditionally. If Jesus could love unconditionally so can we. I have told my great-granddaughter when she acts out, that “I will always love but I don’t like you very much right now.” She stops the behavior to think about it. It usually works. I haven’t had to say it lately.

Your actions always reflect the real you. 

“Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 11:1 ESV). Let the world see the real you. Don’t be an imposter. Let Jesus shine out from you. The world needs more Jesus and less of the world. Let them see Jesus in you. Let the world know how much Jesus loves them.
