But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

 I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.

There’s a song called, “What If” by Matthew West:

“What if today’s the only day I’ve got.
I don’t wanna waste it if it’s my last shot.
Oh, no regrets, in the end.
I wanna know I got no what ifs.
I’m running ’til the road runs out.
I’m lighting it up right here, right now.
Oh, no regrets, in the end.
I wanna know I got no what ifs, yeah.”

I am officially old. Ask my great-granddaughter, she will tell you so. She reminds me occasionally of that fact. I know my time is getting shorter but I am still breathing so I am going to do all I can to leave my small piece of the world a little bit better. I want to leave my family knowing without a doubt where I am.  I know where I am going. I am going up.

Are you? Are you going to heaven? Are you sure that you know that you know? If you are not certain whether you will go up to paradise or down to fire and torture for eternity. Eternity is a very, very long time. Think hard about it. Then say this prayer: “Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”

I hope you said the prayer and meant it. I hope to see every one of you in heaven one day. We don’t know how long we have. We need to do all we can to spread the word before it’s too late.
