I Need a Little Church

by | May 31, 2025 | Fellowship, Repentance, Salvation

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people.

(1 Timothy 2:1 ESV)

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.

(Ephesians 6:18 ESV)

I heard a new song today. It’s called, “A lil Church” by TobyMac:

“I could use a little church right now.
Love to have a little family around.
I’ve been feelin’ so overwhelmed.
I could use a little church right now.”

A Li’l Church by TobyMac

There are times when we all feel overwhelmed. I have been many times. But I worked it out with a lot of prayer. Jesus is the answer when we are feeling overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, or suicidal. Just take your problems to Him in prayer. He is waiting for you to admit you need help. No problem, situation, or circumstance is too big for Jesus to handle. He loves you so much. He will take it all and work it out for you. But you have to let Him. Jesus is there for you when no one else is. He is ready, willing, and more than able to take on your issues.

Do you have issues? Of course, you do. We all do. If you don’t, please teach the rest of us. Jesus died on the cross for all of us. I don’t care how many problems or issues you have, Jesus will take them if you let Him. My advice to you is to repent. Admit your sins. Don’t think you’re too far gone for Jesus to help you. Spoiler alert…you aren’t. Jesus leaves the 99 to pursue the one. Is that one you? If it is, turn around and fall into the arms of Jesus. Let Him carry you for a while. Let His strength pour into you, refreshing you. Let His peace flow over you.

Have a blessed day, everyone.
