“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
(Galatians 2:20 ESV)
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
(John 14:6 ESV)
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'”
(Psalm 16:11 ESV)
I received a package today. After it was delivered, I got an email wanting me to rate my experience. I don’t really like to do surveys. I get them almost every time I go to the doctor or for testing. It gets old. But sometimes they catch me in a good mood so I do them.
If Jesus sent you a survey on your experience with Him, how would you rate Him? All the surveys I get have a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. I want you to think about it. If you had to rate Jesus, what kind of score would you give Him? A 1? A 10? Something in between? Think about it for a while. Jesus deserves a rating of 10. He never fails us. He never leaves us, He provides, protects, and loves us unconditionally.
Doesn’t that deserve a high rating? I think so. But it’s your choice on how you rate your experience with our Savior. If you give a low rating, maybe you need to evaluate yourself. Jesus is always with us. If He feels far away, it wasn’t Him who moved.
You need to think about your actions, words, or attitude and then repent. That will clear up the fog, and you will feel Him close again.
Have a great day, everyone.
