One Little Mistake

“The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, I have continued my faithfulness to you.”

(Jeremiah 31:3 ESV)

“We love because he first loved us.”

(1 John 4:19 ESV)

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”

(Zephaniah 3:17 ESV)

I post on my church Facebook page.  I posted Sunday morning, and the post popped up. It read, “We are not going live today.” My brain read, “You are not going to live today.” My heart skipped a beat, and then I saw what it actually said.

There are words that are spelled the same but mean something different. Like live. Depending on whether it’s a long or short depends in it’s meaning. There is one thing I know that no matter how you say it, the meaning is always the same: Jesus loves you!

There is so much hatred and anger in the world that sometimes it’s hard to see past it. But there is always a light for you if you look for it. Jesus is the light of the world. He will light up the darkness and provide a safe path for you. If you let Him, He will fight your battles before you know you have a battle.

Jesus is love. He wants us to find our way to Him. He wants us all saved and living for eternity in heaven. If you aren’t saved, or if you are back slidden, here’s a short prayer for you to pray for salvation:

“Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. Please forgive me. Come into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Now, help me to live for you the rest of this life. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.” (If you’d like help with this, please visit our website by clicking here!)

I encourage you not to hesitate. Time is getting short. Say the prayer and mean it.

Have a great day, everyone.
