“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
(Isaiah 41:10 ESV)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
(Joshua 1:9 ESV)
There’s a billboard that I see every time I am on my way to church. It’s a white background with two words in big black letters. Those words are: “Got God”!
I told that billboard yesterday morning that yes, I have God, and like it or not, God has me!
I’m sure that God is glad He has me. He waited a long time for me to get my head back on straight and return to the fold.
What about you? Do you have God? It’s really easy to give your life to God. Just pray this prayer and mean it.
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
So, now you, too, can claim you Got God! And God came claim He has you. Isn’t it great? You don’t have to study for hours and hours and then stress over a test on what you studied. You just pray that prayer and God has accepted you into the family.
But don’t just sit back and do nothing.
1. Get your Bible out, read it, study it, learn it. There is no written test, so relax. The Bible is your map for navigating this world. Read it and see what things God had done and what things He is going to do.
2. Don’t forget to pray. Talk to God every day and listen for Him to talk back to you.
3. Socialize with like people. Become friends with fellow believers. If they have been saved for a while, they can help you navigate the Bible.
So my question to you now is, God God?
Have a blessed day, everyone.
