“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV)

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.” (Psalm 28:7 ESV)

When I was working, I looked forward to my days off. Those days I could do what I wanted. I could sleep as long as I wanted, go somewhere or just be a couch potato and watch TV. 

But God doesn’t get days off. He is always on the job. And boy am I glad. I can’t do this life without Him front and center in it. God has to be front and center for me. 

Is God in your life?  Is He front and center in all you do? 

God wants to be in our lives. He wants us to need Him. He wants us to rely on Him for all things in our lives. God wants to provide for us in all areas of our lives. He doesn’t care what we may think we need, He already has the answer to our needs. He has the answer to finances, our health or whatever. 

Have a need? Put it in God’s hands. And don’t be afraid to ask big.

God has told me several times when I ask for something to ask big. God is bigger than all our problems. He is bigger than anything we can ever need. He is bigger than any and all our problems.

So I challenge you today, ask God for what you need and don’t be shy about asking big.
