“Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen” (Revelation 1:7 ESV)
“For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 ESV)
Ahh, another beautiful sunrise. Another opportunity, another chance to get it right. Have you ever just sat and watched the sun come up? God can really paint beautiful colors across the sky. But then there’s the sunset to close the day. Did you use your time wisely? Did you do your best to serve God and do what he asked of you? Did you tell anyone about your Savior? Did you share that Jesus is coming soon? That’s what we all should be doing, you know.
I am not really a very bold person. I have been asking God for boldness to step out and talk to strangers. But recently I have found myself talking more to strangers. It may just be a good morning, how are you in passing? But that’s more than I used to do. I have also found myself talking about Jesus more. That’s a really good subject you know. I need to talk about Him more to more people. I need to spread the word that Jesus is coming back soon. We all need to be doing that.
I remember as a young kid, our pastor telling us we were living in the end times. I didn’t know what to think. But now, we really are in the last days. Jesus is coming soon. So enjoy the sunrises and sunsets while you can. And give your life to Jesus while there is still time.
Behold He comes, riding on a cloud. What a beautiful day that will be.
Have a blessed day.
