“But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.” (Psalm 59:16 ESV)
“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” (1 Chronicles 16:11 ESV)
I heard this on TV yesterday. Tim Ezell on Fox news said, “When you reach the end of your rope, reach up for God’s hand.” How many times have you needed that extra boost? A hand up, not a hand out?
Is there someone in your life that you reach out to in times of trouble? What about reaching out to God? That’s what He does. He takes our hand and helps us out of whatever problems we are going through.
God never gives us more than we can handle. But while that is true, He is right there with us, helping us out of it. God puts people in our lives, some for long periods of time and some just for a season.
But then there are the people who just show up, help you, then are gone just as quickly. Angels? Could be. What other explanation is there that some random person would just show up, help you with whatever you needed, then be gone? “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unaware.” (Hebrews 13:2 ESV).
But whether God sends angels or takes care of it Himself, lean on God. Take strength in Him and hang in there. Things will get better, eventually.
Have a blessed day.
