“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 NKJ)
“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19 NKJ)
I heard a song today that I don’t think I have heard before. It’s called My Jesus sung by Anne Wilson. Here is part of it:
“He makes a way where there ain’t no way
Rises up from an empty grave
Ain’t no sinner that He can’t save
Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus
His love is strong and His grace is free
And the good news is I know that He
Can do for you what He’s done for me
Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus
And let my Jesus change your life.”
Got a minute? Let me introduce to my Jesus. Jesus is love. He loves us all so much and doesn’t want us sick or hurting. He heals us. He wants us all prosperous so he sends financial help. He sends angels out to get the things we need. Jesus works for our benefit, but we have to do our part too. We have to believe and have faith. Faith can move mountains. I know, I’ve had a few mountains moved before.
And the best thing is, that if He does it for me, He will do it for you. So flex your faith muscles and start believing for what you need.
Jesus loves us and wants to help us. He wants to take care of us. We just have to let Him.
I get in the way sometimes. I have a way of barging in, asking Jesus to fix something and before He can fix it, I yank it back and try to fix it myself.
Let me tell you, not a good idea. Once you give your problems to Jesus, let Him keep them. They just stress you out anyway.
So let me introduce you to my Jesus. He really is a nice guy.
