“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of God.” (Galatians 1:10 ESV)
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. ” (Colossians 3:23 NIV)
I have been watching the series The Chosen. It’s about the last days of Jesus’s life. One sentence caught my attention. “God is watching.”
That got me to thinking. God IS watching me. I have always known this but for some reason it never bothered me until now. Am I living my life in such a way that brings joy to God? Or am I a disappointment to Him?
I don’t want to be a disappointment to him. What about you? How are you living your life? Are you a joy or a disappointment to God?
As I think back on my life, there are some things I would like to change. But then I thought, would I be the person I am today if I changed some things in my past? Our past helps define who we are today. I kind of like who I am today. I have my faults but I love God with my whole heart.
But am I doing all I can to bring in others into the kingdom?
I don’t know. Probably not. I guess that would be definitely not. There is always someone I can talk to about God. I just need to work on being bold enough to do so. I need to just open my mouth and ask if they know Jesus as their Savior. Jesus never hesitated. Why should I?
So I ask you today, on Easter Sunday, the day Jesus rose from grave, do you know him as your Savior? If not, let me know. I want to talk to you about my Savior, Jesus Christ.
Happy Easter! God loves you and so do I!
