One of the greatest men to live in the last century was Smith Wigglesworth. He was an unusual character, a plumber by trade and not the most polished person. Nevertheless, his relentless pursuit of Christ enabled him to do countless miracles, including more than twenty people being raised from the dead!

I once read how Wigglesworth told a pastor, “God just spoke to me and said, `I am going to burn you all up until there is no more Wigglesworth, only Jesus.”‘ Then with tears streaming down his face, Wigglesworth cried, “Oh God, come and do it. I don’t want them to see me anymore, but I want them to see Jesus on the inside of me.” Smith Wigglesworth had a clear revelation of the truth of Christ living inside him, and his life changed as a result. Likewise, when you apprehend the revelation of Christ living in you, your life will change. Therefore, take hold of this promise of Jesus: “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him” (John 14:23).

Apprehending the truth of Christ in you brings power to live that non-believers don’t have. Nothing can block you in accomplishing God’s will, for “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
