Servants Who Care

by | May 28, 2001 | Caring, Poem, Servant

There are many in this world lost and dying without God
We pass souls who need a Savior almost every day,
Many will not see the light of tomorrow’s sun,
Souls undone without Christ, in need of someone to pray.

Workers are few in the field of the Lord
While his house is filled with joy and celebration,
The Father still calls for those who will go,
And proclaim his truth to every tribe and nation.

Each day we see them as we pass them on our way,
Souls lost and undone without God’s Son,
Do we ever stop to pray or tell them someone cares?
God can save a multitude with the voice of even one.

As we look to the signs of the times close at hand,
May we take up our cross and his burden share,
Time is running out as His coming is soon nigh,
May we see dying souls and be servants who will care.
