There’s an old song called Because He Lives written by the Gaithers. It has been running through my mind for a while now:

“Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!”

I love that song. Because Jesus lives, I don’t have to worry about my future. He holds me in His hand, He protects me and loves me unconditionally.

Jesus lived a short 33 years. But He really did a lot of good things in that span of years. The Bible tells of some of the things Jesus did but not everything. For instance, what did He preach about? The Bible tells about Him preaching to people, but never what about. It would be interesting to know what He preached about. Did He preach about salvation? I believe He did. That is an important subject. But the important thing is that He lives. And He is getting ready to come back for His church. 

Are you ready? Time is getting short. We need to get ready. 

“Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner and I ask you to forgive me for my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and save me. I am guilty, and I want you to be my Savior. Amen.”
