“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
(Philippians 4:13 ESV)
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
(Isaiah 41:10 ESV)
I got this from a friend yesterday. It reminded me of just how strong I am: “Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.”
I may not be physically strong, but I am strong in other ways. God created me to be a strong woman of God. God gives me strength when I am facing things that I don’t think I can go through. He gives me the strength to face the day and whatever may come at me. God walks with me every day. He is right beside me, taking care of everything and keeping me calm.
According to Oxford Languages, strength is “the quality or state of being physically strong.” I might add to that. Physically strong is great, but mentally strong is good, too. Being strong in the Lord is even better.
Take a look at your life. Are you strong? Physically, mentally? Are you strong in the Lord? Think about it, then decide what to do about it.
Have a great day, everyone.
