“The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.”
(Psalm 145:9 ESV)
“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!”
(Psalm 34:8 ESV)
“And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
(Romans 8:28 ESV)
Things happen. The devil comes to cause issues. What do you do when things happen? Do you scream, cry, and stomp your feet in anger? Or do you turn to God for the answer?
Yesterday I had something happen. I wanted to cry. I didn’t, but I wanted to. I went to God and pleaded for favor. It could have been a bit expensive for me. But God already knew what was going to happen and how it would work out. He was just waiting for me to turn to Him for the answer.
I got to thinking about it, and tears were threatening to fall. A small still voice said, “It’s ok. Don’t cry.” My tears dried up immediately.
God is so good. He loves us so much. He cares even for the smallest of issues. He wants us to totally depend on Him for all our needs. He loves us so much He will move heaven and earth for us. Do you love God like that? You should. Maybe think about what or who you put before God and why. Then, think about putting God first and see what happens.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
