“So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.”
(Hebrews 9:28 ESV)
“But concerning that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
(Matthew 24:36 ESV)
There’s a song called, “Come Jesus Come” by Stephen McWhirter:
“Come Jesus, come, we’ve been waiting so long.
Come Jesus Come by Stephen McWhirter
For the day, you return to heal every hurt and right every wrong.
We need you right now to come and turn this around.
Deep down, I know this world isn’t home.
Come Jesus, come.”
News flash… Jesus is coming back! Soon! For me, it can’t be too soon. I’ve had enough of this world. But the big question. Are you ready for Him to come back? If not, you should be. He’s coming back whether you are ready or not. It will be a lot better for you if you are ready.
What, you may ask, should I do to be ready? Well, let me tell you. Repent is the first thing. Ask for forgiveness for your sins. Jesus will forgive you and then forget those sins.
But let me tell you something. While Jesus will forget your sins, the devil won’t. He will keep bringing them up to try to discourage you. My advice is to tell the devil you have been forgiven of your sins. Then tell him you are a child of God and he to leave. I won’t tell you it’s easy because a lot of times it isn’t. The more you do for God, the more the devil will try to discourage you.
I used to think that if I just lay low and not do a whole lot, the devil would leave me alone. And for the most part, he did. But it’s so much more fun doing what God has for you to do. It’s so much more rewarding. So, I have learned to stand my ground and keep doing what I’m doing. God has my back.
But I still long for the day when Jesus comes back to take us home. I just pray everyone is ready.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
