“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
(John 10:11 ESV)
“He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.”
(Isaiah 40:11 ESV)
“I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me,”
(John 10:14 ESV)
“For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.”
(1 Peter 2:25 ESV)
On my way to church last night I heard the song, “Lead On Good Shepherd” by Patrick Mayberry and Zahriya Zachary’
“Lead on, Good Shepherd.
Lead on Good Shepherd by Patrick Mayberry and Zahriya Zachary
I’ll follow all my days.
There ain’t nothing sweeter,
Than to watch You make a way.
You’ve walked me through the valley.
But You never steered me wrong.
So lead on good shepherd.
Lead on.”
We have a good shepherd. He would move heaven and earth to find us. He would leave the 99 to find the 1. I added a lot of scripture today to show you how much Jesus loves us. He laid down His life for us. He gave all for you and me. What have we done for Him?
Do you make life easy for Jesus? Do you walk in His way, follow His lead? If so, congratulations. But if you aren’t, why not? It’s a tough world we live in. The devil doesn’t make it easy for us either. He doesn’t love us. He doesn’t love his demons. He is incapable of love.
But we aren’t. We need to love people. There are a lot of hurting people out there. We need to go out and let people know they are not alone. We need to tell others of the love Jesus has for us. So I encourage you today to tell someone about Jesus. You may just change their lives.
Have a great day, everyone.
