“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
(Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV)
“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.”
(Joshua 1:5 ESV)
I have been stranded a few times. Flat tires, car broke down, that kind of thing.
I was researching this last night and found 100 verses about God not leaving or forsaking us. There could be more, but that’s what I found on this Bible site I use. That’s a lot of times that God says He won’t leave us or forsake us. If it’s said that many times, it has to be true. Just the fact alone that since it’s in the Bible, it’s true. I don’t care how long or how much you pray for something, God hasn’t left you. He is right there with you at all times. God will never leave us stranded or alone.
I got stranded awhile back when my car broke down on the side of the road. I was alone. I felt stranded until a friend went by and came back for me. But I wasn’t alone. God was right beside me, keeping me calm. He was encouraging me, telling me it was alright. He had it already handled. And He did. I just couldn’t see how. But that’s not important. The important thing is to stay calm, exercise patience, and wait on God’s timing. His timing is always perfect.
So next time you feel stranded and alone, know that you are not. God is right beside you, encouraging and comforting you every step of the way.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
