“In peace, I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
(Psalm 4:8 ESV)
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.”
(Proverbs 18:10 ESV)
Storms blew through a couple of times yesterday. The one in the morning wasn’t bad. The one in the early evening had tornado sirens going off. Was I afraid? No. Did I run to the safest room in my apartment? Again, no. In fact, I was in the kitchen fixing me some supper. I felt safe. I know who holds me in the storms, both physical and spiritual. Jesus is with me. Jesus was with me the whole time. He didn’t prevent me from almost burning my hamburger, but He was here. He was here while I fanned the smoke detector to get it to shut off.
Jesus is with me during spiritual battles, too. Spiritual battles are happening more often. The end is near, and the devil is getting nervous. He knows what will happen when Jesus comes back. He is trying to take as many as he can with him. Don’t be one of the ones he drags to hell with him. Turn to Jesus. Live your life for Him. Spend eternity in heaven. As long as you are breathing, you still have time.
So I encourage you to give your life to Jesus right now. Just repent and ask Him into your heart. Today’s a good day to make that decision.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
