Hebrews 13:8 ESV  

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.”

(Malachi 3:6 ESV)

“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?”

(Numbers 23:19 ESV)

I thought about titling this Weather or Not. This weather has been so crazy. It goes from hot to cold in an instant it seems. It seems like it can’t make up it’s mind. Do I rain or snow. Do I send sun or storm clouds. I know the weather can’t think. But sometimes it seems like it can. It changes so quickly.

But you know who never changes? Jesus! Jesus never changes. He never changes His mind about us either. He is crazy about us. He even cares enough to have the hairs on our head counted. It doesn’t take long to count mine. But that’s how much He cares. When we hurt, He hurts. 

Jesus loves us. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind. He loves us. If He didn’t, would He have died on the cross for us? I don’t think He would have. So the next time you think Jesus changed His mind about you, think again because He hasn’t.
