Believe

by | Feb 25, 2024 | Belief, Expectation, Victory

“And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

(Hebrews 11:6 ESV)

“Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

(Mark 11:24 ESV)

In EMT class, we were taught mnemonics to remember things. I still remember a lot of them. Google defines mnemonics as “aiding or designed to aid the memory.” Here is one for you. From the book, “Your Life  Follows Your Words”, by Darling Bishop:

BELIEVE

B-because
E-Emmanuel
L-lives
I-I
E-expect
V-victory
E-every time

Darling Bishop, from “Your Life Follows Your Words”

Something to remember. Expect victory every time because Emmanuel lives.

Belief in God. Believe in God. Different or the same?

Google describes them as “believe (with a v) is a verb. It means having confidence in the truth. Then, belief (with an f) is a noun. It means a religious faith or the feeling of being certain that something is true.” So, in my opinion, it’s pretty much the same. Believe is an action word. I have to actively believe in God. But then belief is the feeling of being certain that something is true. The same? I believe so.

So, I believe God is working in my life. And my belief is that God is working in my life. Correct me if I’m wrong. Either way, we need to believe God has a plan and is working it out for us. So, put your faith to work. Believe God. He  never lies and will never let you down.

Have a fabulous day, everyone.
