“A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
(Proverbs 15:1 ESV)
“For each will have to bear his own load.”
(Galatians 6:5 ESV)
According to google, a boundary is “a line that marks the limits of an area; a dividing line.”
Every one of us has boundaries. We put limits on how near someone can get to us. Some have a very small space because they don’t want people near them for fear of getting hurt. It’s time we got rid of all boundaries. It’s time to let people into our personal space.
I don’t mean people who have deliberately hurt you or those you can’t trust. I mean people who need to see the love of Jesus flowing from us. The ones in the dark who need a light to show them the way out of the darkness. They need to see our light shine for them. By getting rid of boundaries, we allow people into our space.
Boundaries are there to keep people and things in or out. A boundary line can work both ways. The only boundary I want in my life is to keep the devil out. I want my fences to be high and strong where he is concerned. He has taken enough from me, and it has to stop right now.
I know we all need boundaries to keep us safe, but we don’t need to keep out people who need to know about Jesus. Let’s all let our boundary line be flexible where others are concerned. But shore up your lines where the devil is concerned. Jesus is coming soon. You need to be ready.
Have a great day, everyone.
