Stay Close to God

by | Dec 18, 2023 | Compassion, Presence, Walk with God

“Let us then, with confidence, draw near to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

(Hebrews 4:16 ESV)

“Call me, and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

(Jeremiah 33:3 ESV)

Another Facebook find last night:

“The deepest level of worship is praising God through the pain, thanking God  through the trials, trusting Him when we’re tempted to lose hope, and loving Him, even when He seems distant.

At my lowest, God is my hope.

At my darkest, God is my light.

At my weakest, God is my strength.

At my saddest, God is my comforter.”

I don’t think I need to tell you that no matter where you go or what you do, God is with you. God is everywhere. I know it sounds strange. How can God be everywhere all the time? I don’t know how, but I know He is. God knows our every thought, our every move.

Think you can get by with something and fool God? Think again. God knew before you did it.

I want to encourage everyone this holiday season. Look out for the lonely. Watch for signs that someone is hurting. There are a lot of hurting and lonely people out there. Befriend them. Let them know God loves them.

Have a wonderful day, everyone.
