As young kids when we got hurt or scared, we ran home to our parents. We knew we were safe in their arms. Nothing could hurt or scare us in our parents’ arms. But then we grew up. I guess you could still run to your parents, but it was time to stand on your own two feet.
But as you age, your parents also age and all too soon they are gone. What I wouldn’t give to talk to my parents one more time. But I have someone to talk to. Someone to pour out my heart to. Whether I am scared or hurt or just need someone to talk to. I have Jesus. Jesus is with me every minute of every second of every day. I talk to Him, and I pour out my heart to Him.
I have Jesus in my heart. Do you? Would you like to have Jesus as your friend and Savior? Say the prayer below and really mean it.
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen”
Now, start living your life for Jesus. Really connect with Him. He is waiting for you to call upon Him. No matter what it is, tell Jesus. Let Him work it out for you.
