Provision

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

(Philippians 4:19 ESV)

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

(Matthew 6:33 ESV)

Who needs money? Or should I say who doesn’t need money? The cost of everything has gone sky high. Most of us associate provision with money. Provision can be anything needed.

According to google, provision is “the action of providing or supplying something for use.” Look at someone who has lost everything. It could be a flood, fire, storm, or theft. It doesn’t matter. They now have a need. They need provision.

I love it when people come together to supply the needs of the less fortunate. But there is one place we can all turn to for help. And that’s to God: “The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” (Psalm 34:10 ESV).

God will supply all our needs. All we have to do is trust Him to provide for us.  Do you trust God to provide? If not, why? God is our provider.

I can’t tell you how many times I have trusted God to bring what I needed. He has never failed me yet. And He won’t you. God loves us and wants us to have the desires of our hearts, but we also have to believe He will do it.  Trust and belief go a long way. As long as you trust God to provide and believe He will provide, He will: “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8 ESV)

Have a great day, everyone.
