This is a little different today. I found this online. Satan is trying to steal our children. It’s time we fight back:
Jesus said a good deal about Satan. He called him:
- “the enemy,” (See Matt 13:39).
- “The evil one,” (See Matt 13:38).
- “The prince of this world”, (See John 12:31; 14:30).
- “A liar”, and “the father of lies”, (See John 8:44).
- “A murderer” (See John 8:44).
- He said that he “saw him fallen from heaven”, (See Luke 10:18).
- He has a “kingdom”, (See Matt 12:26).
- That “evil men are his sons”, (See Matt 13:38).
- That he “sowed tares among the wheat”, (See Matt 13:38,39).
- He “snatches Word from hearers”, (See Matt 13:19; Mark 4:15; Luke 8:12).
- That he “desired to have Peter”, (See Luke 22:31).
- That he has “angels”, (See Matt 25:41).
- That “eternal fire is prepared for him”, (See Matt 25:41).
The Bible represents Satan as:
- “The tempter,” (See Matthew 4:3).
- “The prince of demons,” (See Matt 12:24; Mark 3:22; Luke 11:15).
- “Source of demonic possession”, (See Matt 12:22-29; Luke 11:14-23).
- That he put the betrayal into the heart of Judas, (See John 13:2,27).
- That he perverts the Scripture, (See Matt 4:4; Luke 4: 10,11).
- That he is “the god of this world”, (See 1 Cor. 4:4).
- That he is “the prince of the power of the air”, (See Ephesians 2:2).
- That he “fashions himself into an angel of light”, (See 1 Cor. 11:14).
- That he is our “adversary”, (See 1 Peter 5:8).
- He is “the deceiver of the whole world”, (See Rev 12:9; 20: 3,8,10).
- Calls him “the great dragon”, “the old serpent”, (See Rev 12:9; 20:2).
- The “seducer of Adam and Eve”, (See Genesis 3:1-20).
- That he will “flee if resisted”, (See James 4:7).
- That he caused “Paul’s thorn in the flesh”, (See 1 Cor. 12:7).
- That he blinds the minds of unbelievers, (See 1 Cor. 4:4).
- Can produce false miracles, (See 1 Thes. 2:9).
That’s not all of it, but it gives you something to think about. Satan is the father of lies. He will do everything he can to take our focus off God and what we are supposed to be doing for God. Guard your heart and your family. Don’t let the devil get a foothold in your life.
Have a great day everyone.
