“It has seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God has done for me.” (Daniel 4:2 ESV)
“And he did not permit him but said to him, ‘Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.’” (Mark 5:19 ESV)
According to google, testimony is “Evidence or proof provided by the existence or appearance of something.” It can also mean “a formal written or spoken statement, especially one given in a court of law.”
I had to give a written testimony yesterday to the local police. I had witnessed a fist fight between 2 of my neighbors the day before. Of course, both parties had a different story, but mine fit with the story of the older of the two men. The younger has a history of lying to try to get his way or at least get sympathy.
Another kind of testimony is one of “look what God has done for me.” An oldie but a goodie.
A few years ago, my car broke down. The throttle body went out. I called a local mechanic. Turns out I had known him when he dated my friends daughter in high school. He remembered me, and when it came time for me to pay the bill, he said no charge. He said it was because I was so nice to him all those years ago.
See? A little kindness goes a long way.
God has a way of taking whatever test you are going through and turning it into a testimony. And when He does, share it with others. You never know who may need to hear it.
God won’t stop us from going through testing, but He will never let us go through more than we can handle. And He will always provide a way out for us.
So whatever test you are facing today, financial, health, family, friends, loss of a loved one or job, God has the answer. Call on Him, and ask Him for help. God will never leave you stranded. He will send His angels to protect and guide you. So call on Him and let God provide the way out.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
