“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5 ESV)
“Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7 ESV)
Some of you will remember back a few years ago, ok, quite a few years ago. There was a toy called Weebles. The slogan was, Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down!”
There have been more times than I care to count, that my walk with God reminds me of that slogan. I have wobbled. But since seriously dedicating my life to God, I may wobble but He won’t let me fall down. He is right there to hold me up.
You see, the devil will send storms to try to make you fall down and stray away from your walk. I have felt like that old time blow up clown. No matter how hard you hit it, it always popped right back up. That is how I feel a lot. The devil likes to send financial storms. He created a crises in our economy and now more and more people are struggling to make ends meet. So he waits until someone falls and swoops in for the kill. But that is when we need more than ever to cry out to God. He is right there to catch us and keep us from falling.
How is your walk? Is it strong with no storms? Then help the rest of us. But are you wobbling in the wind? Then turn to God for strength to withstand the winds of the storm. He won’t let us down. He won’t forsake us. He loves us forever and always.
Have a blessed day and when the storms come, remember to be a Weeble and wobble but don’t fall down.
