What a day it was yesterday. I got my new floor but was exiled outside for the day. It was a beautiful day yesterday. I took my bag of different skeins of yarn out with me and made a wreath. Yesterday was a totally different day than Thursday. I could feel Jesus close by all day keeping me calm.

Jesus is concerned about us. He gave me courage Thursday to make phone calls and complain about my flooring. For those who don’t know, the ancient carpet in my apartment had become a tripping hazard and was being replaced. Long story sort of short, housing wanted to strip and buff out the existing tile. The 20 year old carpet left stains on the tile which did not want to buff out. After a tearful call to maintenance supervisor, the decision was made to replace the flooring. But wasn’t sure yet with new tile or laminate flooring. I got the laminate. Yea! 

But the peace I felt all day was wonderful. Jesus was right there with me. He was with me Thursday giving the courage to make the calls. He gave me the courage and the right words to say to get what I needed. He held me that night while I slept. I could feel His arms around me all night. 

Jesus is a wonderful friend, counselor, healer and savior. He provides what we have need of usually before we know we need it. Do you know Jesus? If not, today is a good day to get acquainted. Just talk to him like you do with friends. He will listen and answer you.
