God Really Does Care

by | Mar 20, 2023 | Bible, God's Love, God's Plans

“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 KJV)

Out of curiosity, I looked up the top 2 Bible verses that people searched last night. Neither one surprised me. Just look at Jeremiah 29:11 KJV. God knows the plans He made for us because … surprise! He made them! He knows the story of each of our lives from start to finish. He made each of us a book that has His plans for our lives in it.

The next one didn’t surprise me either. John 3:16 KVJ shows us how much God loves us because He sent His only son to die on the cross for us. How many parents would send their only son, or daughter for that matter, to die on the cross for a bunch of sinners like us?

The 4th favorite verses is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (KJV) I like this verse. God gives me the strength to keep going. He gives me the desire to keep going on. There are a lot of good verses in the Bible and if you read it enough, you will find your favorite.

My favorite is Deuteronomy 2:3: “You have skirted this mountain long enough; turn northward.” (NKJV) It reminds me to stop doing the same thing the same way expecting different results. It tells me to let God lead me and stop doing things my own way.

No matter what your favorite verse is, read the whole book. God will point things out to you. I have read the Bible cover to cover several times and still find something new. So read your Bible. See what God shows you.

Have a great day everyone.
