“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV)
My mom used to say, “Keep enough money each payday so you have a little wiggle room just in case.” I would try but something always came up. Then my wiggle room was gone. I wonder if people look at their walk with God and see if they have wiggle room. Personally, I don’t see it or need it. I mean either you are living for God or not. If you’re living for God, you don’t need any wiggle room. That would just open the door for the devil to come in and cause chaos in your life. I don’t like chaos. I like calm and quiet. My walk with God gives me the calm and mostly quiet that I crave.
I have been going through some things lately. But God has kept me calm. Even in the midst of a storm, God is there keeping me calm. As I was praying last night, God was talking to me. He reassured me that things will be ok. He has everything under control. That was such great news. God will provide for all my needs if I just believe He will.
So I don’t need wiggle room where God is concerned. He has my life planned out and all I have to do is trust Him. Do you need wiggle room in your walk? Just remember that wiggle room in God might just open doors you don’t want to open.
Have a great day everyone.
