Imperfections

by | Jan 21, 2023 | God's Love, Happiness, Love

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 ESV)

“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” (Colossians 3:14 ESV)

I am redoing my bathroom. It’s being done in flamingos. I ordered a shower curtain with flamingos on it. I will admit it was cheap and it’s been said you get what you pay for. I noticed Friday that the flamingos faces are a fraction of an inch off center. So my flamingos have no faces. Not a big deal, I’m not sending it back. But it’s imperfect.

It matches me. I’m not perfect either. But you know, that doesn’t matter either. God loves me exactly how I am. He loves you how you are too. Warts and all as my grandma used to say.

But you know who doesn’t love us? Satan, that’s who. He is working overtime to bring us all down. He wants us discouraged and mad. He hates to see us happy. Talk about an imperfect being. The devil hates us. He is throwing the book at us. He knows his time is getting short.

There is a lot of illness going around. A lot of people I talk to talks about not feeling good. The devil is messing in people’s finances. Or trying to destroy relationships.

Have you noticed how much alcohol use has increased? It’s sad to think people turn to alcohol to ease the troubles of life. Drug use has also been on the rise. Murders, beatings and hate are running wild. It’s time we did something people. Get on your knees and pray. If you can’t get on your knees, sit or stand. Just start praying. It’s time we take this imperfect world and lift it up to our perfect God. Ask Him for mercy and grace in this time of trouble.

Don’t let the devil steal anymore from you. Take back what is yours. Go to the enemy’s camp and take back what he stole from you.

Have a great day.
