“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 ESV)

“I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.” (Proverbs 8:17 ESV)

There’s a song called, “Love Me Like I Am” by King and Country:

“It’s amazing that You can Love me like I am. 
And even when I can’t, You still love me as I am. 
Oh, I don’t know how You do it. 
And I know I put You through it. 
It’s amazing that You can Love me like I, 
love me like I Am.”

God loves us regardless of what we may have done, said or thought. His love is endless. Can you say that? About anyone except God? 

I can’t. Some people can really push my buttons, but I am learning to just take a deep breath and let it go. I find it amazing that God still loves me after walking away from church and basically going my own way for so many years. But He kept pursuing me until He took drastic measures and got my attention.

But even in those years, I could still sense when angels were near. I still can. But God never let go. He kept urging me to come back. For many years I was that one lost sheep that Jesus went looking for, leaving the 99. 

In 2002, I had a job I loved. But I lost it. God used that to make me realize that I needed Him more than I needed that job. God pursued me until He had my full attention. I went back to church. I cried the whole service. I knew I was back where I belonged.

Is God pursuing you? My advice, let Him find you. Turn your life over to Him. It’s a decision I don’t think you will ever regret.
