“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 ESV)
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 ESV)
I saw this on Facebook awhile back. I have it saved on my phone. While cleaning off some unneeded pictures, I saw it again. I read it. It’s called a minute with God. I won’t go into the whole thing but the first sentence caught my eye: “With what is going on in the world these days, Heaven could end up a ghost town.”(Author unknown)
That kind of sums up our world today. No one takes time for someone in need anymore. They just seem to look the other way. Or think someone else will take care of it. Do you take time and spend it with God? Do you talk to God? He talks to us. I have been watching the series
The Encounter on Pureflix. It’s about Jesus meeting troubled people and helping them. We all need an encounter with Jesus. We need to encounter Jesus and listen to what He has to say. God wants our prayers but He also wants our praise. We need to just open our mouth and tell Him how we feel about Him.
Tell others you love them then tell them about the love Jesus has for them. You may be the only person to show any compassion toward them. So I challenge everyone of you today. Spend time with God. Even if it’s just 60 seconds of your time.
Have a great day everyone.
