“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16 ESV)
“Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2 ESV)
God is still on the throne and working miracles. I was the recipient of 2 of them yesterday.
It is so wonderful when God intervenes on our behalf. After the past few days, I needed something good. I got my car fixed. It was basically nothing. And my mechanic did not charge me. That was the first miracle.
I went to Walmart after leaving the mechanic’s shop to get an oil change. While checking out, I specifically asked if he had the oil change on it. He said yes. I checked the receipt when I got home. I was not charged for it even after asking about it.
God is so good. A friend sent me the amplified version of Matthew 7:7: “Ask and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking, knock and keep on knocking. I love that.” (AMP) Then she said don’t give up. Keep asking.
Are you like me, I ask a couple of times, then figure God knows what I want and what I need. There’s no use is pestering Him with it. But it says to keep asking, keep knocking, keep seeking. All too often we stop at 1 or 2 times. But we need to keep on. Don’t stop.
God is still on the throne and still doing miracles. So if you are in need of anything, call on the King. Tell Him what you need. Don’t let the devil talk you out of anything. Remember that the King has 1 more move and He will out do the devil every time.
Have a great day everyone.
