“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” (Revelation 22:13 ESV)
“So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” (1 John 4:16 ESV)
“The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.” (Deuteronomy 32:4 ESV)
Years ago stores would paint signs on the outside brick walls of their stores. I don’t know kind of paint they used but it lasted a long time. As I pulled into the parking lot of my church yesterday, the words grand prize jumped out at me. We are currently meeting together in a former store. There are other things painted on the outside wall, too, but I haven’t really noticed them much until today.
God told me to tell you. You are in a race for your life. And if you win the race, He is the grand prize. This is not a race to take lightly. It’s a race to decide your fate when your time is done here. God wants all of us to win the grand prize. He wants all of us in heaven with Him.
Can you run the race to win the grand prize or will you just settle for the other prize? The other prize is eternal life in hell by the way. I hope you choose to run your race to win the grand prize. I know I am trying to. There are days when it gets hard but then the easier times give you the strength to keep going. Don’t quit, don’t give up. Keep running as if your life depends on it because it does. Life in heaven or hell? Your choice.
Have a blessed day everyone.
