“And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.” (Acts 22:16 ESV)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 ESV)

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but there is a lot of darkness in the world now days. People are more negative than they used to be. There is more violence. 

There’s a song called “Brother” by NEEDTOBREATHE:

“Ramblers in the wilderness
We can’t find what we need. 
We get a little restless from the searching 
Get a little worn down in between.
Like a bull chasing the matador
Is the man left to his own schemes.
Everybody needs someone beside ’em
Shining like a lighthouse from the sea.” (Brother by NEEDTOBREATHE)

There seems to be a lot of that going on  now days. You go from one thing to another and can’t find what you need. I can tell you what you need. You need Jesus. He is shining for us right now. He is shining his light to show us the way to Him. This is the way to Jesus and eternal life in heaven. Say this prayer, repent and walk away from your sins. Jesus will wash those sins away and never bring them up again.

“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

I hope you read the prayer and meant it. Jesus is coming soon and I want you ready.
