“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16 ESV)
Can you imagine a love so big that it surrounds everyone? God’s love is that big. He loves us regardless of what stupid things we do.
There’s a song called, “God So Loved” by We The Kingdom:
“Bring all your failures.
God So Loved by We The Kingdom
Bring your addictions.
Come lay them down
At the foot of the cross.
Jesus is waiting there.
With open arms
See His open arms.”
God is waiting for us. He is waiting for us to admit we have sinned. Then He wants us to repent and walk away from the sin. God wants our problems, cares and concerns. He wants us to lay them all down and let Him take care of them for us.
What about you? Is your love so big you could condemn your only son to certain death? Even if you knew He would live again in three days? I don’t think I could. How could I send my only son to die? God is a better person than I am. But then, you already knew that.
What about you? Is your love big enough? Do you love others like God does? I try to and most of the time I succeed. Let’s try to love like God loves. The world would be a much better place if we did. God is waiting with open arms for us. Fall into His arms and let Him take care of you.
