“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”

Luke 15:7 NLT
In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!

I was coming home yesterday afternoon. On the radio came the song, “Me On Your Mind” by Matthew West. The first part is what really caught my attention:
“I’ve read the words in red.
Me on Your Mind by Matthew West
How You leave the 99 to find the one missing.
Feels like that was written with me on Your mind.”
I have felt lost before. I was lost in Atlanta, Georgia once but that’s another story. I have felt lost while in a crowd. I know I’m not the only to feel that way either. What I want to know is what you did about it. There’s a parable in the Bible about a shepherd who left 99 sheep to find one who strayed. Jesus searches for us that way too.
We all have strayed at one time or another. But we can easily find our way back to the fold. Jesus is searching for you. He found me. I went back to the fold. Best day of my life by the way. Just to know that I was accepted back into the fold with no questions asked, just open arms. Open arms that were waiting for me, for Him to wrap me in his arms and assure me everything is ok.
One big thing I want you to know. If Jesus does it for me, He will do it for you. So repent, fall into those waiting arms and rest, knowing you are very loved and wanted. Today is a good day to repent. Are you ready? Jesus is waiting for you.
Have a blessed day everyone.
