The Bible

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

(Hebrews 4:12 ESV)

“But he answered, ‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”‘”

(Matthew 4:4 ESV)

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

(Psalm 119:105 ESV)

Have you read the Bible all the way through? How about halfway? Maybe a few books? I have read the Bible. Yes, the whole book, several times. It’s interesting, even Chronicles. The Bible can be used as a road map on how to get to heaven. It can teach you how to live your life to please the Lord.

The Bible isn’t just a book to put on the shelf to collect dust. You should see the Bible I read daily. It’s being held together with clear contact paper so the cover doesn’t totally disintegrate. I have even glued pages back in. I have multiple passages underlined. Yes, you can write in the Bible, God doesn’t care as long as you read it.

I want to encourage you to read the Bible. If you need one, I found a cheap one on Amazon for my grandson. I find something new every time I read my Bible. There are times when something kind of jumps out at me. It’s always something that God wants me to know.

Give it a try. You won’t regret it. Try reading my favorite book first, Genesis. It’s the very first book of the Bible so you don’t have to search far. And by the way, all the books are my favorites.

Have a great day.
