I was watching the Gaithers Vocal Band last night and heard, “The King Is Coming”:
“O the King is coming.

The King is coming.
I just heard the trumpets sounding.
And now His face I see.
O the King is coming.
The King is coming.
Praise God,
He’s coming for me.”
The King is coming. He is coming sooner than we think. Time is almost up. Are you ready? If Jesus came back today, would you be ready?
Thank God I am. I gave my life to God as a preteen. I rededicated my life to him in 2002. I have looked back over my life from time to time. There are parts I am happy the way it turned out. But there are parts that I am not so happy about.
I have also discovered that the devil likes to bring the bad times up a lot. But I have repented of them. God washed them away. Every time the devil tries to remind me of those times, I have to remind him that I am a child of God and I have been forgiven. But he still tries.
I’ve said this before and I will say it again and again if necessary. The devil is a liar. He keeps telling me I am not healed. Lies! I refuse to listen to him. And you should too. The King is coming for His children soon. Don’t be fooled by lies of the devil. Don’t let him tell you that you aren’t good enough or pretty enough or skinny enough or rich enough. All lies. If you are happy, great. If not, figure out why and fix it. Times too short to go around mad and upset all the time. It’s time we make a stand and send the devil down the road.
