“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
(Romans 3:23 ESV)
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
(2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV)
There’s a song called, “No Matter What” sung by Ryan Stevenson. Here is the first verse:
“A lot of us grew up believing.
No Matter What by Ryan Stevenson
At any moment we could lose it all.
And at the drop of a hat.
God might turn His back and move on.
A lot of us feel like we blew it.
Thinking that we’re just too far gone.
But I want you to know.
There’s still a hope for you now.”
How many times have you thought you have missed it or disappointed Jesus? That Jesus would turn His back on you? I don’t know that we can mess up so bad that Jesus will turn His back on us just because we messed up. If we repent He is quick to forgive us. Oh, I know that there are times when He feels far away. But He isn’t, it’s us that have moved away. We have become dull.
This is the chorus to that song:
“No matter what you’ve done.
Refrain — No Matter What by Ryan Stevenson
You can’t erase His love.
Nothing can change it.
You’re not separated No matter what.”
Nothing can erase His love for us. No matter what. Listen closely…NO MATTER WHAT! Jesus still loves us. Jesus is waiting for us to repent and come running into His waiting arms for forgiveness. What are you waiting for? Repent, run into the waiting arms of Jesus. He is loves us No Matter What!
Have a blessed day.
