“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?’” (John 11:25-26 NASB)

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.” (John 10:27-28 NASB)

Jesus lives! He is risen!

There is a song called, “Because He Lives”:

“Because He lives,
I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives,
all fear is gone.
Because I know,
He holds the future.
And life is worth the living
just because He lives.”

It’s true. Every word is true. Jesus rose from the dead. He lives. And because He lives, we have no reason to fear anything. Jesus is our future. He holds the key to eternal life. He is the way, the truth and the light. He guides us to eternity.

But which eternity will you be in? Heaven or hell? I really hope it’s heaven. Hell is eternal torment and torture. So if you are on the fence today, if you don’t know if you are saved or if you don’t know Jesus like you should, say this prayer:

“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

I know I harp on this a lot. But it’s really important. Eternity is forever. Do you want to spend it in paradise or eternal torment and torture? Your choice. I pray you choose heaven. But I can’t force you and Jesus won’t either. We were given free will to make our own choices. Choose wisely my friend. Happy Easter. Have a blessed day everyone.
