“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
(John 14:6 ESV)
“Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
(John 14:13 ESV)
Do you know there is power in the name of Jesus? Did you know you can access that power?
It’s true. Call on the name of Jesus for help. Plead the blood of Jesus over you for protection.
I plead the blood over me and my car every time I go somewhere. There’s some pretty bad drivers out there. I was on my way to church yesterday morning, having a great time talking to the Lord. A song came on and God told me to hush and listen. I had to look up the name when I got to church. God told me to take it to heart because it’s about me. The song is, “In Jesus Name” by Katy Nichole:
“I speak the name of Jesus over you.
In Jesus Name by Katy Nichole
In your hurting, in your sorrow.
I will ask my God to move.
I speak the name ’cause it’s all that I can do.
In desperation, I’ll seek Heaven,
And pray this for you. I pray for your healing.
That circumstances would change.
I pray that the fear inside would flee in Jesus name.
I pray that a breakthrough would happen today.
I pray miracles over your life in Jesus name, in Jesus name.”
God said it was about me because I pray for people. That’s what I do at this stage of my life. I will gladly storm heaven’s gates for you in prayer. I will go boldly into the throne room and tell God what you need. I am good at that, telling God other people’s needs. Not so much mine though. I guess it’s because I know God already knows what I need. When someone asks for prayer, I pray. But before I am done I will plead the blood of Jesus over them. I also use the name of Jesus.
So if you need prayer, let me know, I will storm the gates of heaven for you. You can submit your prayer requests here!
Have a blessed day and stay safe everyone.
