Jesus Loves Me

by | Apr 8, 2022 | God's Love, Salvation

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'”

(Matthew 22:37-39 ESV)

“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

(1 Corinthians 13:13 ESV)

Easter is a week away. I was looking for an Easter craft and found a cute bunny with the words No Bunny Loves You Like Jesus. I got to thinking about that.

No, I don’t believe there is a rabbit that brings baskets of candy to kids. I know it is a play on words. But change bunny to body. Then you have Nobody Loves You Like Jesus! Now that is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Nobody loves us the way Jesus does. His love is a perfect, forever, nothing will make Him stop, kind of love. He loves like no one else can. His love is unconditional and lasting. Nothing we do can make Jesus stop loving us.

Makes me wish we were the same way. I have known some people in my past that I really do not love. I don’t hate them because that would be wrong, but I don’t love them either. But no matter what we have done, Jesus loves us.

Do you love Jesus? I hope so. He is worth getting to know.

“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

Feel free to pass this on to anyone who needs to hear Jesus loves you. His love is free, no strings attached. Couldn’t you use a good healthy dose of the love of Jesus today? I know I can.

Have a great day everyone.
