“For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up.”
(Ecclesiastes 4:10 ESV)
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
(Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV)
I heard this song last night on my way to church:
“Weary traveler, restless soul,
Weary Traveler by Jordan St. Cyr
You were never meant to walk this road alone.
It’ll all be worth it so just hold on.
Weary traveler, you won’t be weary long.”
It says “you were never meant to walk this road alone.” We aren’t meant to. We need Jesus walking with us. He will walk beside and sometimes go ahead to clear the way for us.
From Footprints in the Sand poem:
He whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you.
Footprints by Margaret Fishback Powers
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.”
Jesus will carry you when you are too weary to go on. So when you feel you just can’t go on, lean on Jesus and let Him carry you. Have a blessed day everyone. Jesus loves you and so do I.
