“For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.” (Deuteronomy 20:4 ESV)
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37 RSV)
I got bored with TV last night and was watching you tube videos. I was watching Ernie Haase and Signature Sound. They sang, “Step Into The Water”. This verse got me to thinking. This is what we as Christians need to be doing right now:
“It’s time we the people,
Step Into the Water by Ernie Haase and Signature Sound
Stand up for what is right.
It’s time we squared our shoulders back,
And raised our swords to fight.
For the Bible is our weapon,
And the spirit is my shield.
The church needs more of its members
to be workers in the field.”
This is the very time we need to stand up for what is right. The devil is trying to strip us of our rights. And we are letting him. It’s time we stood up to him and take back our land, take back everything that has been stolen from us. We have our armor. It’s time to put it on and start fighting back.
How, you ask? Get out there and tell people about Jesus.
Pray! Pray about everything. We have power, people. We have Jesus and we can defeat the devil. If enough of us are praying we can turn things around. I have seen it happen.
There was a tornado headed towards my town several years ago. It was predicted to hit town in my area. I started praying and standing against it. The storm that was so strong it produced several tornados, dissipated and blew over leaving no damage at all. That’s the power of prayer, and I wasn’t that strong of a Christian at the time.
But as it says in Matthew 17:20 ESV: “He said to them, ‘Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.'”
So build up your faith and fight. Have a great day.
